Blarney Castle which dates back to 1200 A.D. is one of the must see places in Ireland. The castle is currently a fractional ruin but some rooms are still in good shape and easily accessible. At the top of the castle lies stone known as the Stone of Eloquence, also known as the “Blarney Stone”. Some of the tourists who visit Blarney Castle are often “placed upside-down” to kiss the Blarney Stone. It is said that whoever kisses the stone receive the “gift of eloquence”.
