Center of British Empire

United KingdomUnited Kingdom’s capital city is London, which is best known as the center of British Empire. London is a huge city with subway systems and several tour buses. The Tower of Big Ben is an icon in London, which emerges over the houses of Parliament. The British Museum is a mixture of old London and new London. Here you can stroll around and go through the Egyptian rooms and have a look at the mummies.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is a 300-year old cathedral found in London. Recently this cathedral has been cleaned and repaired and you can see that it has been restored to its original appearance. It is the best place to see the view of the city.

The London Library is the place where you can find over one million ancient books and periodicals which dated back 16th century.

In the Cabinet War Rooms you can find a small door that leads to the underground where Winston Churchill carries out his military operations.
