This is actually one of the most famous diving destinations which could be found in the Philippines. The reason why this area of the Philippines has been one of the favorite travel destinations all over the world is because of the myriad historic ships that have been sunk here for more than a century, which can be seen clearly because the water itself is clear and transparent.

On the other hand here are the lists of some of the famous diving sites in Coron Bay.

  • Kogyo Maru Wreck—this diving wreck site is ideal for those who were first timers. Known as a Japanese cargo that carries construction materials purposely used for establishing an airfield and was unfortunately sunk in Coron Bay.

  • Okikawa Maru Wreck—known as a civilian tanker which was sunk in the nearby Busuanga Island. The captivating corals that surrounded the ship are one of the reasons why there are many tourists diving in here. A great place to venture a family trip.

  • The Akitsushima Wreck—the only Japanese warship downcast in Coron Bay. Great scenery to view for your world travel vacation.
