Bangkok is Southeast Asia’s most exciting city. Bangkok’s culture is a mixture of ancient and modern cultures. This city is full of beautiful temples with golden Buddha images. You can see traditional wooden houses in every corner. Bangkok was also called the “Venice of the East” due to the canals that crisscrossed it. In whatever place you may be in Bangkok, you can smell the sweetness of jasmine and the delicious smell of grill foods on the streets which can make you hungry.
Chinatown is probably the busiest and the most crowded place in this city. Restaurants, markets, gold vendors flooded Chinatown. Here you can also find the Bangkok’s best street food.
If you want to see the largest and probably the oldest Buddhist temple, you can go to Wat Pho. Here you can find the famous Reclining Buddha, which measures 46m long and 49 feet high, this Buddha is covered with gold leaf and his feet is inlaid with mother of pearl.
